it seems like it is a powerful statement about aesthetics and sexuality. It is
actually in fact, FKA Twigs is known for her proactive lyrics. For example in
her song ‘two weeks’ she says ‘my thighs are apart for when you’re ready to
breathe in’.

with the lights on,’ that are a metaphor for letting certain people see the
different, ugly sides of you that others won’t be able to see.”
