This is where we have gotten our inspiration from, as she says naked and painted in gold as we want to adapt this theme within our video as we are going to use bright glow in the dark paint and smother and imprint our artist naked body with it.This brings loads of attention to the audience and it is quiete sexually appealing in a strange way as she is teasing her audience by not just showing her bare skin also due to the design of how the paint would be printed on our artist body this protrays that she is a very strong,sexy lady as the paterns would be tribal and raw.

In this music video, it has many extreme close ups of FKA Twigs, this makes the video effective as you can see her facial expressions and emotions that she has, this is also shown through the lyrics. You can see that she is sad in the video, this is shown through her facial expressions and the tear that is running down her face, which is shown in this short clip. The make up that she uses is very minimal, this is so that you can concentate on her expressions rather than her make up.
The start of the video shows her head, the head movement is like a clock and when she stops her head movement she opens her eyes, then when her eyes open the lyrics start to begin, this might mean that the way that she is moving her head is like a timer when the lyrics are going to start. The tear is very graphic like and you can tell that it is not real and that it has been done on the computer, this is shown through the one eyed blinking.
The music video is much like the famous video that Janelle Monae has where it is such an extreme close up of her face and she is singing, this also shows her emotion and she actually starts to cry during the video. We have chosen FKA Twigs as we think that she is unusual. Her personality and looks can be played with alot in our music video. We have chosen this song as we think that alot can be done in the music video as we can use many different effects and we can create an unusual mise en scene in our music video, we can also play on the Iconography in our music video, and we could maybe change it. The genre of the song is trip hop.

Analysis of music video by wynter Gordon-Dirty talk
I like the use of mixed lighting placed on the artist's naked body.it creates the illusion of the artist's body being a canvas; its being honoured as something worthy.The strobe lighting covers the explicit parts of her body such as her breast so its not overly sexualised.In my group's music video we could incoporate this idea and use mid shots of the artis't body baring her shoulders and back. Intsead of different coloured lights we can use neon paint to highlight parts of the artist's body.I like the choice of location for the mise en scene .This was filmed in a green screen room .This would be an ideal location for my group's music video because our main concept of our music video is to follow Goodwin's conventions of relating the song lyrics and visuals and our main character in the video is a female. As the song lyrics are explicit we will be using a voyeuristic approach on our female artist. using bright neon paint on specific parts of her body such as her shoulders and back to draw attention to these body parts.
